Emma Stratton

She began her piano studies at the age of 6 at the Escuela de Música de Palafrugell with Gemma Valmanya and, from the age of 10, continued at the Marshall Academy in Barcelona with Carlota Garriga.

From 2017 to 2021 he studied the superior degree of piano performance with Vladislav Bronevetzky at the ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya) where he graduated with honours in piano performance.

He has received master classes from the pianists Jordi Camell, Josep Colom, William Cuthbertson, Gennady Dzyubenko, Carles Lama, Luis Fernando Pérez, Raimon Garriga, Luiz de Moura, Maria João Pires, Stanislav Pochekin, Rafael Salinas, Alba Ventura, Marta Zabaleta and also from Dimitri Kaprin at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow. She has also received chamber music lessons from Rubén Herrera, Cuarteto Casals, Trío Guarneri and Kennedy Moretti.

She has been invited to participate in renowned festivals such as the “Clasclas” Festival in Galicia, the International Classical Music Festival of St. Fruitós de Bages, La Schubertíada de Vilabertran and has given concerts organised by Juventudes Musicales and other cultural entities, performing in several auditoriums and theatres in Catalonia and other cities in Spain and Germany.

He is currently studying for a master’s degree in piano performance at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg (Germany) with Professor Aleksandar Madzar.
