Eva Palacios

Born in Galicia—Spain, Eva moved to London  35 years ago to study  Contemporary Media Practices at Westminster University. After finishing University, Eva became a director of Toyfund ltd, a Digital Animation Company based in London,  working with clients like Armand  Penguin/Warner and  Arcadia (1995)).   She has worked independently in a wide range of animation projects from Theatre, Documentaries, Advertising, and News. Her collaborative work has been exhibited in Peacock Theatre, Edinburg Festival, BBC, Channel 4. In 2021, she started working on her personal projects as a Director, including’ The Walker ‘, exhibited in The Biennale of Venice 2021. She is currently A Senior Lecturer and Active Researcher at Portsmouth University, where she was a Course leader of the BA Animation till 2021. She is currently doing a Practice PhD at Portsmouth University on the authenticity of the artist’s voice and representing the others using Virtual Reality and new technologies.
