Marc Riba

Marc Riba and Anna Solanas have been working in the world of puppet animation for 18 years. They have made 14 short films that have been selected at festivals all over the world, winning more than 150 awards. With a style in which the puppet is the real protagonist, in their works they pay special attention to the complex universe of children, where innocence and imagination remain united with cruelty and obsession. In 2013 they occupied one of the halls of the Museo do Marioneta in Lisbon, exhibiting models and puppets. They have taken part in juries and given lectures at national and international animation festivals.
